One more small step to police state.
For people who thinks that the census and gun registry are invasions of privacy, it's amazing that Harper and his government have no problem spying on everone's email and texts.
Now I have no problem with police being able to access these things, if they have a warrent in the same manner like a phone tap, but what the Harper Tories are proposing is that the police, on a whim, can just walk up to your ISP or wireless provider and look at all your email, text messages and where you've been surfing on the web, no warrent, no oversight. Nothing stopping the Harper Tories from using the RCMP to spy on political opponents. One more step towards a police state.
