Your tax dollars at work – Conservative party flyers.

So in today's mail came a little flyer from my Conservative MP (I live in Calgary, would he be any other kind). Not a big deal as he sends them all the time. This one however caught my eye as there was an online poll listed to respond to... So here's the flyer:

Lo and behold, it's the Conservative party website. So we have here yet again our tax dollars being used for party political purposes. Again this is not likely to be news to those of you who've received endless 10%rs from the Tories over the past few years. This is the first time I've seen it here on my local MP's stuff though. Usually he just has you respond via mail.

Interestingly at the link you have to provide full contact information in order to vote. Presumably so you can get yet more taxpayer funded Tory propaganda.

As a side note, the other side of the flyer was plastered with "Canada's Economic Action Plan" logos, so that would be a prime indication of taxpayer funding.

Yep, Conservatives, arrogant, unaccountable and bellied up at the public trough filling their mouths. So much for being different.
