Letter to Ralph Klein
Dear Premier Klein,
I am writing in response to the apparent discord between your government's statements and your actions. Your government claims that it wants to hear Albertans' concerns about your new health plan, however your actions in the legislature run counter to this. Since it appears that you aren't open to ideas that aren't your own (and just so you know, I'm NOT a Liberal), I am left with the belief that any “consultation” with the public on health care, or any other policy, is window dressing and a pointless waste of tax dollars. Public hearings and consultation is only useful if you are actually open to what might come out of such a process. Your actions show that you are not open to anything that you and your party haven't come up with. This is the kind of arrogance we've come to expect of a federal Liberal, and you have shown that such arrogance is alive and well and living in Alberta.
Sincerely,
Jason Nishiyama, CD
